The KAC-9104D is a compact mono amplifier designed by Kenwood which features a rugged aluminum cast chassis that is nearly 30 percent smaller than its predecessor and it still punches out nearly 900 watts of RMS to your subwoofers without twisting the electrical system of your car.

The Kenwood KAC-9104D mono amplifier includes an in built low pass filter that adjusts the output of the car stereo amplifier so that you receive the best possible sound from your box combo or subwoofer. Apart from this the subsonic filter eliminates inaudible and ultra low bass which can detract from the performance of your subwoofer. If you want to increase the sound then you can add up to 18 dB of bass boost.

The power rating of the Kenwood KAC-9104D mono amplifier is measured according to the strict standards set by the CEA (Consumer Electronic Association). This amplifier has the capacity to withstand a low impedance of 1 ohm. This in return offers you more flexibility for connecting to several car stereo speakers. The Kenwood KAC-9104D includes two channel speaker level input connectors. When you split the speaker wires from the receiver to the connector you have a plug in convenience to the amplifier. This feature also offers easy compatibility with the factory receiver or radio without any preamp outputs.
